    Relocated cervix..... almost certainly TMI

Since having DD my cervix seems to have moved.... it's a lot closer to the entrance IYKWIM.... it's weird and my diaphragm seems to be in a completely different spot, so I am wondering if it is in the right place? Also I think it's uncomfortable for DH during sex... can anyone tell me if this is normal? or have I just revealed way too much information?

    is it a slight prolapse?

It's certainly normal for it all to change in there after a baby - did you get re-fitted for your diaphragm? I'm pretty sure you have to get a new one after every birth and if you gain or lose more than about 4kg. Also keep doing your PFE's, things go back close to normal eventually but it's normal to have a bit more laxness in the ligaments after birth, especially if it was assisted (did you have ventouse or forceps? Or am mixing your birth story up with someone else's?) or if the pushing stage was long.

When are you feeling your cervix? Bear in mind that if you feel sitting on the loo or standing up, with the pressure of your guts above it, your whole pelvic floor will be pressed down a bit more. If you're lying on your back (or front) things won't be pushed down so far.

Did DH SAY it hurts him? Sometimes we can be so sensitive to the possibility of changes in that direction after childbirth that we second-guess. I once though DP was struggling to "feel" me and in fact he had cramp in his calf! LOL.

If you HAVE been re-fitted for the diaphragm and DH isn't too worried i wouldn't worry too much. Chances are that whoever re-fitted your diaphragm would have noticed and mentioned any problems.

Bec thanks ..... I was refitted by my OB but he said I was still the same size. BUT he did have a good poke around in there so he should have noticed if there was anything wrong. pushing stage was about an hour 15 from memory and no assisted delivery, just a NVD. I don't think it is too big a deal for DH, but he did say something about getting stuck on the rim of it once.... but at the moment I think any nookie at all would be gratefully received LOL
    thanks again love mwah x
