Ausgirl, I saw your other thread but I wasn't able to reply at the time. Have you been able to go and see another, more understanding doctor? Regardless of whether you think there's a cyclic nature to it, it might be a good idea to get a mental health plan and go and see someone like a psychologist/counsellor ... and schedule those appointments during the part of your cycle when you know you'll be experiencing symptoms. Talking through it, and getting some self-maintenance strategies will be one part of the puzzle. Also, on a mental health plan, they have to report back to the GP so if there is a hormonal/cyclical element, that is something the psychologist can raise with the dr, which might add some weight to what you have been saying. I know, it sounds back to front, but I've been through a similar process recently, and it helped me to get a long-term health condition diagnosed.
