    I feel anxious...

I feel really restless and anxious today...i'm hoping it's because I've had too much coffee lol but i'm not sure. I don't know what to try. I have this thick, heavy feeling around my solar plexus. I've had a glass of red, and then I went and sat in the hammock and trailed my hand in the grass touching the earth, then I sat by the front door and stroked the cat for a while.

i bought a zen graden earlier today so I organised that for a while but still...feel really, really anxious and fragile...

    Any ideas what might help?

    TIA x

Try going for a walk. Walking along the beach is especially good (but not at night... maybe tomorrow though if you're still feeling like this?) salt water is cleansing, as well as calming, I always feel better at the beach even when I already feel good.

    A bath or shower?

if you're feeling anxious often maybe you could start doing some yoga.

I am glad you have woken up feeling better!

I always find that journaling helps me when I'm anxious - even if it is just figuring out what the problem is. A lot of the time with me it is just that I am not feeling in control of my surroundings and I feel helpless - in that case I like to make a plan for the next little while (or long while!) so that I know where I am going again and can relax.

I hope it doesnt creep back up again at all. Have fun at the beach tomorrow!!

I really want to start Yoga, and yesterday when I was on the hammock I tried to breath deeply and focus on what I was feeling and the anxiety came up so striongly, it was so weird like this massive wave and I was so close to figuring out what it was...it was right there and so powerful and strong. Almost like I was connecting with something or someone. And then last night I just wanted to switch off everything...everything electrical does that make sense?

i would love to make a little room that had no technology, not even a light...just a little hideaway with cushions...wouldn't that be amazing!

Ash, I haven't written in my Gratitude Journal for a while, thanks for reminding me!

Honey, you have an iPhone don't you? If so, check out Andrew Johnson apps. They're guided meditations and i absolutely LOVE them. Always helps me. I nearly have all of them i think!
