Gem - things are going really well... although I was anxious over the weekend so paid a visit to the hossy for some monitoring as hadn't felt bubs move for the best part of more than 15 hours, and not at the usual times. Never had monitoring before, so it was pretty amazing to hear, and to see bubs heartbeat increase when bubs was moving and also during a braxton hicks contraction, in addition to the general relief that there was a heart beat in the first place. DH was so chuffed that he asked for a copy of the print out.

Today is Sophie's first anniversary...after today the "year of firsts" will be gone. It's inconceiveable to have time move forward, as time is such an external measure, and I suppose the world at large forgets and moves on, but in a way I don't. I mean I do, but a part of me will always be in that moment.

It seems that you are feeling a bit better? It seems that way. It's good to hear and sense the energy in your post.... its been missing whilst you've been feeling under the weather.
