Hi guys, just stopping in briefly.
Been having a much needed break from BB, which included a bit of an emotional breakdown last week, but I'm feeling much better and more in control now :)
10dpo today and counting, looking like I'm going to have a 28 day cycle this month after the 39 day cycle last month. Have a doctors appointment tomorrow, going to look into & hopefully get some tests done to check Progesterone etc.
Gem - Hope there's a BFP coming your way this month!
Dory - Yay! 21wks 2d today! You'll make it, I know you will :)
MrsDex - Whoo-hoo! 16wks 4d! You're doing well darl!
Hope everyone is having a good day today!
Much Love & Sticky Vibes, Jen - xoxo
Hi Jen
Sorry to hear that you have been through a rough time, try and stay positive and hoping you get a BFP soon too. Good luck with your tests if they go ahead. Take Care.
Jenna - I didn't think I'd seen you posting in the other thread. I hope you have come through the darker times still strong and with your jaunty spunky attitude! Blimey 39 days is a whopper - 28 is much more manageable! 150 days tomorrow. I think in terms of days, and how each day is a blessing. Of course some days are harder than others. But that's just the way it is. Hope your appointment goes well today... and you should have those results by Monday?
Take care blossom and go gently.
Gem - thanks!
Dexy - how are you doing you busy little bee?
Hello Gorgeous Girls!

Hi Ladies,
Wow, time is going by quick isn't it... well not quick enough. I got confused the other day with what week I'm up to and raced out and got a test, it was negative and after closely checking the dates again, silly me I still had another week to go. I have a really good feeling about this month, but I'm trying not to get ahead of myself. I just have this feeling... literally... I'm feeling a little niggle down there for the last 4 days or so.. fingers crossed ! I think I can test next Wednesday, but don't hold me to that coz I keep forgetting which is the right date. I actually had to come in here the other day to check as I knew I had written in here about it...
18 weeks Dexy... thats great. I'm glad your finding the time for yourself to just relax too. Out with the jelly beans to practice kicking the footy :D
Dory hope everything is going well with you and your holding onto those positive thoughts.
Jen how are you doing sweet? Hope things are picking up for you!
Keep up the good work girls. Take Care.

Ladies - I was just thinking about you last night and thinking I must come and post and then I log on tonight and see there are some posts. Awesome.
Dexy - am loving the fact that you got lots of kicks. I am loving that you are 18 weeks. Are you going for a morphology scan and if so when?
Gem - oh poor sweetie. Hoping that this time next week you are telling us some good news.
Jenna - I haven't heard from you for a while either in this thread or the other one we post in. Hope you're doing ok.
I celebrated the 22 + week milestone by writing on my tummy in lipstick in the morning before the Obstetrician's appointment on Wednesday. it was a celebratory message. The obstetrician was pleasantly surprised and I think he was excited too, both by the milestone itself and by our mini celebration.
Bubs has been a little less vigorous for me today... but I did spend a lot of this afternoon asleep! I went to a funeral this morning and baby was kicking during the funeral, which was the first time baby has really consistently kicked whilst I have been sitting up and whilst I have been out. It was also a bit hard conceptually - every kick for me was a celebration of the miracle of life growing within me but a poignant reminder of the life the service was remembering.
I have been a bit weepy lately... this past week really. I am not usually "weepy". I haven't really had emotional or mood swings either in any of my pregnancies. I wonder if I was having some pregnancy moments? But then again, I just realised that perhaps leading up to the milestone of Amelia's gestation and now beyond was contributing to my weepiness.... oh well. Its weird that sometimes writing something down makes me process it a little better.
Have a good weekend girls. We are taking to cats to the vet. That will be exciting.....Thinking of you.
Just thought I would stop by and see how everyone is doing...
22 weeks 6 days Dory :D How are you doing? I hope you are in good spirits, never easy attending a funeral. Don't be afraid to cry if you feel the need to. I did often while pregnant with Jayden, I cried while watching Free Willy with the kids. It can be good to get it out and you will feel so much better. Your emotions will be a lot stronger during pregnancy. Hang in there while you pass Amelia's milestone. I know you will have memories, try to hang on to the nicer ones. And again, don't be afraid to cry if you feel the need to. Sending you extra love and support right now Dory.
How are you cats? I hope they went ok with the vet...
18 weeks 1 day Dexy :D Hope you are doing well and staying positive. I will send lots of loving support vibes your way. That reminds me, Dexy how are you getting on? Is DH home now? I hope so, it's not nice being away from our Hubby's.
AFM I am starting to get impatient... Roll on Wednesday! I doubt I will be able to wait that long though... We'll see. I figured Wednesday would be the better option to test because I would or should be a day or two past... hmmm. Sorry, just thinking through my keyboard !!
One more thing before I go... Which one of you bubs is mastering the art of malteser kicking... ? ? :D I guess Dory's bub has almost a 5 week headstart lol
Anyway, hope your all doing well, gotta go.
Take care ladies.

I was hoping for very exciting news in your post..... my heart started beating more rapidly when I saw there was a post from you! Bring on tomorrow. I have everything crossed for you.
I am going ok. Am struggling today with the pregnancy hormones. Had to take one of the fur babies to the vet for a tooth extraction whcih is a routine procedure. I am just sad and anxious and am thinking bring on 2pm! Ordinarily I am relly robust with vet procedures.
It was a bit funny. he had to fast from 9pm. As we have 3 cats - they all fasted. But then so did DH and I, we both slept so badly we slept in a little and then had no time for breakky before the cat was to be admitted at the vets. I couldn't bear the thought of DH dropping the cat off alone and nor could I do it alone today, so we went together then I dropped DH at work. I grabbed some fruit and a museli bar, which I ate in the car, and had some toast when I got back home. I wasn't bawling but had a good stream of tears running down my cheeks when we left the cat.... crazy times. Bring on 2pm.
I have an Ob appointment today - made one yesterday as I was feeling a bit in need of reassurance, and it has worked out well, I go to my apointment before I go to pick up the cat.
I was reading the other night and my book was bouncing around from the baby movements! Not quite a malteser moment, but I reckon, with some practice......
Dexy - hope ou are going ok. 18 weeks is jus so awesome.
Jenna - hiya to you if you are lurking. Thinking of youl
Gem - bring on Wednesday.....

oh Dory honey, your cats will be fine. You have been through a lot, funeral, amelia's milestone and now your cats, of course you might feel a little down. It's good you have a reassurance appointment with your doc. Just to help you along your way. .
Wow kicking a book... thats a lot bigger than a malteser :D sign im up for soccer lol kicking a book at that age hehe... speaking of such.. are you finding out the sex?
AFM I told you I wouldn't be able to wait lol... I did a test this morning, it wasn't first thing in the morning though. I'm not real sure about it, but I did see a very very faint line there.... fingers crossed that tomorrow's test, first thing in the morning, will show a more definate answer... !!
Take Care ladies.
Danni
oh oh oh - I am so excited......
Morning Ladies,
Thought I would come in quickly and let you know how the test went this morning. It's still only a very faint line... Think I might go to the doc for a blood test, I remember when finding out with Jayden, DH didn't think then that I was UTD because it was a very very faint line then too, and blood test had to confirm. Still no sign of AF. I have a feeling that I am UTD (lol that sounds funny) but still waiting for definate confirmation before I say yes or no. Fingers Crossed !
I'll be sure to post and let you know how it goes, either way!
Danni
GEM!!!!
OMG!!!
A lines a line love - They dont appear for no reason! EEEEKKKKK!!!
Will be awaiting your next post :leap:
Dory, hope your doin alright lovely - Remember - Concentrate on how far you have come, not how far you have to go x x x
OMG - I just come home from the docs. I had a blood test done (ouch) i think i felt a tear form - they said that the results should be available tomorrow morning... Then no sooner had I walked in the door at home I had a phone call on my mobile from the hospital to say that Jayden's Momento's are ready (finally, taken them 12 weeks instead of 6, i'de almost given up hope of receiving them) They will arrive tomorrow morning by registered mail... How's the timing ? ? ?
Thanks Dexy, I know, I know, a line is a line.... I don't really like to get ahead of myself because there is always that chance that I am wrong but I think I already know my answer, I'm just waiting for confirmation.
I'll post again as soon as I have access to my puter after finding out :D
yes... here I am still hanging around impatiently. I actually just got the email to say that Dexy had replied so I clicked on it and it must have been from the reply earlier.
I realised that I was getting so carried away with what's been happening here with me today that I hadn't stopped and asked how you are doing Dory. So, How are you doing Dory? How did your appointment go yesterday? I bet the cats are happy to be home again!
Well Ladies, you know me by now, too impatient to wait. I rang the doctors clinic to see if they had the result tonight and with some extra phonecalls by the receptionist they got the result through. Unfortunately it was not our month this month. As I was waiting for the phonecall back from the receptionist I went to the loo and found some spotting and knew my answer before I received the call, but her call back confirmed the spotting with a BFN... Noooooooooooo
Nevermind, hopefully this coming month we'll be more sucessful... I'm just so confused atm because I truly believed this was our month. I had that gut feeling that I was UTD which I couldn't shake. However I did have a thought today of the blood test being negative... so I dunno... maybe my mind is playing tricks on me.
So I will make a note that 26th of May starts the new cycle and this time I will base it on a 30 day cycle...... fingers crossed for the new month!
Oh and I don't think I want to bother with the tests next month... how confusing are they. My doc says they're no good until you are 2 weeks past so next time I will go back to the doc I think.
Take Care Ladies, hope everything is going well for you. Sending supportive vibes your way.
Danni.
Hi Ladies,
I really hate to be a downer, I just need some advice if you can. I am really feeling down at the moment because I had this strong feeling that we were going to be successful this month. We received pictures and prints today of Jayden. I have gone from being on a high for the past few weeks to being completely drained and down in the dumps. AF is full on now and I have these little clots coming through, about 10 of them just now. I have a major headache that I can't seem to shake, I've had it all day but has just gotten worse in the last couple hours. I had a meditation session today and that seemed to help a little but when I got home I just felt like going to bed and sleeping for a week. Instead I lay on the lounge complaining of the pain and worming around in the chair to try and escape the pain. I can't go to bed because DH has gone to training and I need to keep an eye on the kids. I had a problem with my eyes last week to the point that I got an emergency appointment with my optometrists. I thought I was going blind and I had started to feel drunk, dizzy and nausea. The optometrists couldn't find anything different with my eyes and said that it could be the onset of a migrain. I had a bit of a headache but it disapeared pretty quickly after the eye problems sorted themselves out. I don't know what is wong with me. The doc took extra blood to check things out but I haven't heard anything back about that. I think I need to be scrubbed out and drawn again. I wonder now if we will be able to conceive again after what happened with Jayden, and this adds to the stress and drama of it all.
I'm trying to practice what I tell you lovely ladies to do which is to think positively about things, I'm just finding this a very difficult thing to do right now with all the emotions running wild and the headaches making things worse. I'm sorry to be a burdon on you and I know you only really need support yourself right now and so I will understand if you find it difficult to reply, but I appreciate being able to write it out.
Danni.
