Oh Dan...
The cruelty of a faint line - I'm so very sorry love.
Of course things now seem messier than ever. Your second guessing everything ( such a womanly ability! ) & your poor heart is heavy. Big hugs gorgeous girl :comfort:
AF manages to suck the life from you. Because your so focused on the goal, the burden will lessen, just take your time... Its really no wonder your having such headaches, you can smile & carry on all day everyday, but it doesnt leson the amount of worry & wonder on your plate behind the scenes.
Don't be hard on yourself, easier said than done I know. But I'm sure in time you will concieve again & have a brilliant outcome.
Your sad loss of Jayden being refreshed by the momentos arriving would surley play a roll in your discomfort of late & you have every right to grieve and/or deal with that as you need.
Dont ever hesitate to write whatever it is you feel the need to in here! Regardless of what we all may or may not need, the pimary objective is to be a support base for each other. You get what you give sweetheart & returning the favour is an absoloute pleasure!
Your allowed to feel like crap, cry, scream & lay in bed or a week - So if thats wat you feel like - DO IT! When your ready, you will strengthen again.
So slow down, take your time... and take one step at a time. Your only human after all...
Much Love Babes x x x

Gem - first of all - I am so sorry that this wasn't your month.... I was pretty excited that it was going to be. Sorry I have been MIA - you were right - the cat was completely ok - but I have spent the past few days keeping an extra eye on him and fussing over him, as well as giving him his medication and attending to a few appointments myself.
Sweetie - I know this is going to sound weird, but sometimes the symptoms you have described, can be as a result of a lot of emtional stress and boy do you have that at the moment. In addition to your disappointment for this month, you have also been taken right back to when Jayden was born. That is a really tough emotional journey. Add on top of that AF. You must feel totally battered, physically and emotionally.
I remember after Sophie, I felt like you describe and like you, followed it up with the Dr's. I had low iron count but the Dr said it wasn't low enough to cause the symptoms I was complaining of. I also had the "shakes" and felt exceptionally fatigued all the time, in addition to the ones you describe. I started going to accupuncture and taking trad chinese medicine as well as the changes to my diet to increase iron both haem and non haem ( meat and non meat sources). I don't know whether it was the passage of time or the accupuncture/tcm or both that helped. But I did start to feel better. But I would notice if I got stressed or upset, the symptoms would return.
I would so dearly love to tell you that you will conceive again. I believe that you will and statistics are on your side that you will. But for now, while AF is here, and the memories of Jayden have been brought to the fore again and are probably so raw - focus on them and your darling angel. I think you need to.
About the clotting - hmm. It is scary to pass clots. If they really worry you and you have a lot of discomfort or pain, off to the Dr for you, ok?
I know it's tought right now, but go gently. What you've been through these past few days is really hard. You need time for you and your DH. Can you do something nice for yourself? Take the time to cry, like it was all only yesterday. That's ok, it happens. Oh, and you don't always have to be the person giving support - it's ok to need it too. And you are not a burden...... you share anytime. Just sorry I have been MIA for a few days.... I usually don't check over the weekend, but I will, just in case you have posted. Big hugs both human and feline from us to you.
Dexy - thankyou for your words of encouragement. I have come a long way. Most of the time I can focus on that and I am so proud and excited. I am hoping that come 24 weeks I will start to feel like I am over a mini hump. I feel a bit like I am in limbo at the mo. I know 24 weeks isn't a guarantee, but at least there is a lot more hope after then.
AFM - the cat is all good again. I am feeling much better. Almost time to make an appointment for the next cat to have the same thing done. Yeah. The vet said it could wait 6 months, but DH and I decided to get it done asap, as then we don't have to worry about it. it's crazy just how much I adore these little fur babies. I wonder if it's because I spend so much time with them now? Crazy old cat lady that I am! When I was at the vets, I could have taken home at least 3 of their "adoptees". One cat was surrendered after the owners acquired a puppy, which the cat didn't like and the cat ran away, got injured, needed vetinary care and the owners decided the cat was too expensive to keep. She was just the sweetest little thing. Another cat, just got left at the vets in a cage one night. It's just so sad that people honestly see pets as expendible. I know there are people who do much worse to pets, so these littles ones are lucky, they are at least being taken care of, and are being ared fr very well. But still it makes me sad, especially when in contrast I consider our cats an integral part of our family. Spose our cats are just lucky.

awww my heart goes out to you :comfort:
I myself have lost 4 lil bubbies, and know the feelings u must have :crying
It never seems 2 get any easier does it?????
:stickyvibesgirl: :stickyvibesboy: for the future!!!!
-
Malibu - sorry for your heartache and angel babys. I agree - it doesn't get any easier. Stickies for you too.
-
:hello: and thanx dory :)
It is just so gr8 2 have a site like BB, no matter y u join the group, 2 have wonderful supportive ppl who take the time 2 listen.....im :crossfingers: for the future. It just gets harder, i let myself get hopeful and than like that it has ended before it has begun. I have a 16 year old son, who i had a trouble free pg and labour.........and cant understand y after all these years im having so much trouble. I do have a under-active thyroid, but th dr alwayz keeps a close eye on it and he said with the close monitoring and rite medication i should b ok......but alas it hasnt :crying:
Anyway thanx 4 ur kind words and support :D
-
malibu - i agree about BB. There are so many reasons to have trouble TCC. Have you asked you Dr about having a uterine bioposy to assess for NKC? (natural killer cells). It's a fringe area of obstetricis, but I know one BB'er who really pushed for it and it came back positive. She is now on some meds and going through IVF and just had a successful egg collection. Another one of my friends has seen an endocrinologist who has diagnosed a condition( but I can't remember what it is.. after some searching ....here it is late on set congenital adrenal hyperplasia), for which treatment is available. It's not thyroid related and can affect tcc. There is also a really good thread prepared by Inanna about possible causes of fetal death and recurrent miscarriage. It's in the recurrent loss section. If you can't find it let me know and I will post the link.
It's not fair, but one for me one of the ways we can help ourselves is to get as much info as possible and rule out as many things as we can. Hope I haven't offended you. If I have, just let me know and I will pipe down.
Your DS, is he getting ready for his formal? My nephew had his on Thursday and was going to be too busy from 2pm with "hair" appointments and getting ready to talk to for long. LOL - go the metro boy.
-
No u havent offended me at all Dory, in actuall fact i appreciate ur info :D
I have posted a new thread in the Miscarriage and Loss section, but awaiting the Moderators 2 approve it.
I was diagnosed with a under-active thyroid after my son was born like 2 years after, so would explain y i am having recurrent m/c's but my dr alwayz tests all the time, and i even went 2 a specialist that deals with thyroid problems and he also said with close monitoring i should not have trouble TTC, but it hasnt happened yet :(
I will def go look in the recurrent miscarriage section and have a read.....thankyou its nice 2 know that ppl take the time out 2 listen and respond.....believe me it helps :)
My son doesnt not have a formal til the end of the year.....but being a sporty type of teenager i cant keep up with all his committments lol...between rugby, football and basketball i never no which one im going 2 watch lol.....hope ur son has good time at his formal.....and exciting time indeed :)

You ladies are awesome (wiping a tear) I am still a bit of a mess, but to get it out like I did last night here on BB was a huge release. The support you ladies offer is simply priceless and I really appreciate your kind and loving words. I did take some time for myself today. I spent the morning being very lazy after what has been a busier than usual week this week (especially with the school). I made the effort to take this time for myself without the feelings of guilt for doing nothing constructive at home or whatever. After lazing about for a while this morning I went down to the library for a couple of hours and borrowed a collection of books to read which should help me to feel a little better within myself. Bought myself some lunch and just took the time to just be. Hubby has been really good, let me off the cooking duty two nights in a row and the kids have noticed to quieten down around me this afternoon which is great too. Just trying to put one foot in front of the other at the moment. I just found it so hard yesterday because I have been in high spirits recently and it really hit hard yesterday. So thank you so so much for helping me along the way!
Take Care Ladies (sending positive vibes to you again as soon as I feel strong enough) :D

Gem - you are most welcome. One foot in front of the other is a pretty good achievement. BTW - what did you get for lunch? I swear I live vicariously through others food at the mo..... hugs for Dh too.
-
Hey Dory, thank you. I had a homestyle sausage roll for lunch, I do have a soft spot for those. There is only one bakery that I like to buy them from :D ! ! Have a nice day!

For some reason I just live for other people's food experiences. Poor DH every day I excitedly ask him what he had for lunch.... luckily he understands.
How are you doing? Feeling a bit more robust?
Dexy how are you? 19 weeks now... how exciting. What are your new pregnancy experiences?
All good here. I have some sense of relief now having reached 24 weeks. Still a long way to go and I feel quite a heavy burden to do all I can to keep bubs safe and snugly inside as long as I can, as every day now increases bubs chance of survival. But there are also some significant steps for me coming up - steroids for bubs in 2 weeks to assist with lung development ( just in case bubs comes early) is the next one. It's delivered by injection to me.
Anyway, take care my lovlies.

:hug:Hi Ladies,
I thought I would drop by and say g'day. I am feeling a lot better today. It was my birthday yesterday and I had a lovely dinner with the family. Everyone was in good spirits and I got a little spoilt with presies too :D I have to say I am doing much better. I think the words you lovely ladies posted have also contributed to getting back up on my feet and so I thank you so very much
I went and seen the doc the other day and followed up with the results from my blood test and everything seems to be as it should. I just have to be patient in the TTC department and maybe spend some more time actually TTC lol
Oh Dory, today I had... umm a vegemite sandwich for lunch and for dinner I had exotic (name of the marinade) chicken with mashed potatoes and steamed vegies :drools: one of my favourites :D
I hope your all doing fine and your pregnancy is progressing well. Hope things are well with you Jen and hoping to hear of a BFP soon!

Gem - happy birthday! It's so good to hear that you had an enjoyable day and felt spoilt. Every girl needs to feel a little special. Hmm - your dinner sounds really yummy! I might have to try it.... DH is cooking tonight and just gave a little stick of cheddar cheese. Yum. Guess I must be getting hungry....
Dexy - how are you doing? 20 weeks.... you would be due for your morphology scan or have just had it? Hope you're doing well.
AFM - all good here. Just counting my blessings each day. As now I get a real sense that every day really does count. Have to take #2 cat in for a tooth extraction this Tuesday. I wonder if I will be as anxious as last time? Llast time for cat #1, I got so anxious I made an appointment with the Obstetrician as I also started to worry about bubs. Good work that the Obs could give me reassurance about bubs and had some emathy about my anxiety for the fur baby.
Malibu - how are you going?
Jenna - And you?
Take care.
-
Hi Ladies,
How are you all doing?
Dexy we haven't heard from you in a while, hope everything is fine.
Dory how are those cravings coming along? It just so happens I had another sausage roll today for lunch ! I have been eating at weird times lately and eating things I wouldn't usually eat at that time. Last night I made spaghetti bolognaise for dinner, I usually make a nice batch, adding onion and garlic but last night I filled up quick and only ate a small amount, it just wasn't what I wanted. Although later that night I felt like cornflakes. This morning I woke up and had a muesli bar for breakfast. I hardly ever eat breakfast and I hardly ever eat muesli bars either... strange.
I should be around that time of Ovulating. I am looking forward to hopefully getting some good news in a couple weeks or so... fingers crossed.
I started at a Yoga class this week, which was interesting, I have never been before. Just the kind of exercise I need. Enough to get you moving with out feeling like you've run a marathon. I had a sore hip the next day which is a bit of a concern, I have had bad hips before. Just feels like giving way. Hoping the specialist will help me through this issue, I am to see him again in a few weeks.
Hope you lovely ladies are doing well. I am doing so much better now than I was a couple weeks ago. Take Care.
Danni
P.S Anyone going to be following the World Cup? It is starting tonight (opening ceremony). I expect to see many people getting around bleary eyes over the next couple weeks :D

Good to hear from you. Miss Dex has been quiet huh? I too hope that means that she is just way to busy with her life and pregnancy....
I haven't done Yoga but I have done Tai Chi, and it's awesome. More challenging than the names of the moves and how it looks. Sometimes going slowlyis harder than rushing through. I'd say Yoga is similar - concentrates on slow controlled moveements and breathing. Hope that hip works out.... I have lately had dodgy hips too. Mine is not bone/nerve realted though, just tight ITB ( the ligaments on the side of your hips, I think), and of course with all the relaxin and other hormones coming and going in my system the past 2 years and not using or stretching it properly since Jan this year, it all adds up. Something to work on later this year.
I hope you catch that eggie! The big O is always an exciting and mysterious time. I am hoping that in two weeks or so you have some good news.
Werid about your appetite at the mo. Just go with it, but if it's still werid in a little while get it checked out. I actually had a sausage roll a couple of weeks ago. Gee it was nice. Last night just before DH was due home I read someone had had scrambled eggs. All I could think about then was a quiche. Luckily DH wasn't starving when he got home and said he could wait 40 mins or so for the quiche. It was divine - I load mine up with veges. Hmm divine, and I had some for lunch today. I went through a phase for about 2 years of not enjoying eggs - either the taste or how they made me feel (nauseated) but it's so good to be back to loving them.
So good to hear that you are feeling better. It makes a difference to how we approach life.
I am not a huge soccer fan, although I don't mind a kick around, but I will probably watch some, just because it's sport on the world stage. I feel so sad for the aussie goalie for the sad news about his child, it must bo so tough for him and his whole family right now.
AFM all good here. Next week I get the steroid injection to helps bubs lungs develop, in case bub is born prem. Another milestone along the way. Am feeling bored with being at home and not doing too much at the moment. So having an ob appointment and having to go to the hossy for the stab will be exciting for me next week. And of course having Dh home for the long weekend will be awesome. Anyway better go ring the vet to let them know my furbaby is going really well since his op and with his meds ( Not sure if I posted here - he was booked for a tooth extraction but didn't need it, but as he'd lost 400g in 3 weeks, had some blood work done and he's been diagnosed with hyperthyroidism. There is treatement available - one that is likely to cure him rather than just manage the symptoms - but until I talk to the ob next week, he's on medication). We had been trying to help him lose weight - he was 7.4kg at his heaviest - and he had gradually been losing weight ver hte past year, but in the past month or so I had thought I noticed he was a bit thinner and he was a lot more frisky and prone to episodes of "crazy cat". But until I found out about the rapid weight loss, I was just happy that he was shedding the weight and getting some mojo back. So a surprise for me. So far so good with the meds - but time will tell. Apparently hyperthyroidism is very common in older cats, but less than 5% in cats his age. Anyway, better go ring them and let them know and make another appointment for him to have his hormone levels checked in a couple of weeks.
Have a good weekend and enjoy being blearey eyed and supple from teh yoga!

Maybe Dexy has the pregnancy forgetfullness going on and has forgotten us temporarily??
:shhh: lol
-
Hey Ladies,
Dory, you have reached 26 weeks  congratulations sweety!!! Hope your injection goes well, this week is it? I hate injections and I make sure that whomever has to give me a needle knows that too. They seem to be extra careful when I let them know. You must be busting out of your clothes now huh.. lol and entering into the third trimester  Your doing really well. I hope you keep yourself occupied during the days, I have always got kids to run around here and there... I need a sign on the car "Mums Taxi" lol Each have their school, sport, appointments etc etc, it's amazing I found the time to join the yoga class. I'm a little nervous about returning to yoga actually after last week. They had a day of this week because of the public holiday.
I had to take my kids to the dermatologist today to follow up with their hair loss. They are doing more tests, and we're slowly making progress. The tests they are doing have already been done before but they want to do them again before moving into the next stage of testing... Argh doctors lol.. so it's a 3 week wait to get the results and decide on the next step. Thankfully their next appointment is early in the morning, rather than smack in the middle of the day making it impossible to go to school, like it was today.
Dory, glad to hear your fur babies are doing well. You do a wonderful job looking after them. It sounds like they live like kings and queens hehe..
Dexy, I hope everything is well with you, and hope to hear from you soon love.
Take Care Ladies,
Danni

I'm not sure where you ladies are... ? I'm getting a little worried - haven't heard from you for a while. I hope everything is going well. I'll wait patiently to hear from you.
