Hi guys

Tomorrow we go back to the Children's Hosptial to have an ultrasound and see the orthopaedic surgeon. I am really hoping for some good news but I am no getting my hopes up (too much). Ideally I would like to be told that Scarletts's hips are improving and that she can spend 4 hours a day out of her brace. The hour each day she is currently out of the brace is so much fun for her. She chews her feet, rolls from side to side and I just know that the more time she spends out of it the more she will learn to do. Ayway - keep your fingers crossed...

Hi all

I can't believe it - we went to the hospital and the doctor said that Scarlett's hips are going so well that she only needs to wear her brace at nght time. I was so not expecting it so I am so excited. I am a bit worried that she will not sleep at all during the day now without her brace on - I just out her in bed and all she wants to do is put her feet in her mouth! Anyway thanks fr all your wishes and I'll update you soon on how she s getting on during the day.

congratulations that is fantastic news - did they give you % or anything or just say she was doing great?

We're going in for our ultrasound on Thursday to make sure Clara's hips are in the right place - she'll have been in the harness for 2 and a half weeks by then. Hopefully we'll be able to see some improvement regardless of how small!

Nicole, when Georgie first came out of her harness she was the same all over the place in the cot, that was when I got her in a sleeping bag because she would just kick of the sheet straight away. In 1 way I was so happy she could now kick but then all I wanted her to do was sleep.

Georgina - they didn't give us a percentage. They just said it was going extremely well and that she didn't need to wear her brace during the day.

Dee - I know what you mean. I went for a walk earlier and she fell asleep in the pram but not in her bed yet. At least I know she will sleep at night when it's back on. Now that will be my next worry - that when she gets it off for good she'll never sleep!
