I so could've called DS Jesse James. Name is Jesse, fave uncle of mine is James. But too far for me. Used uncle's middle name instead
I do know a S ummer S torme. And I think like it...

Just noticed in the newspaper the other day that a footballer has called his daughter
Kobyfox
Came across a Haidee today (Heidi)
I had seen that before and always pronounced it in my head as "hey-dee".
That's weird. I thought Heidi was pronounced high-dee
I know a Heidi (hi dee) & a Haydee. Pronounced as you'd expect. Why do people insist on messing with spelling rules?

Yep, Heidi is pronounced high-dee. Think Heidi Klum.
Did anyone else think "Hades"?
I know of a Maori guy named "W i l l i a m." He usually goes by "W i l l y".
Which would be ok, except his surname is "W o k k a".
(Not that I think a grown man should be called w illy, but that's a matter of opinion)
Today's best version was Cookie.
Yep. Cookie.
I just saw an educator at my ds's kindy spelt kymbelea.. Maybe I am struggling cause I love the name (it is my dd's name), just not the spelling (dd has one of the common spelt versions).
My uncle in law is Cookie - but his surname is Cook (as opposed to being named after baked goods, or the dude in A Country Practice".
Could it be that?
If not![]()
