My brother still lives at home with my parents, so its pretty much the family cat...
I'm fairly over it now (still stings a bit when someone talks about the cat), I think I just needed people to tell me that it was ok - that it wasn't the end of the world!
We'll probably still use the name if we do have a girl... just a waiting game now

I did recall after I posted this, hearing a little while back of a couple who gave their son the same name as their dog because they liked it so much!
