I'm going to add it to my list... is that wrong?!?
Most of my names on my list are old english names and/or names that sounds like surnames.
My friend called her baby Ziggy, about a week after I'd met 2 different dogs called Ziggy. I never would have thought of Ziggy being a dog's name if it hadn't been for that, and I've never known a dog called Bosley so I think you're safe!
Thanks everyone. I suppose I was just looking for a bit of reassurance. We're not telling anyone IRL until he's born so I have no family and friends to run it by. I honestly don't care but I wouldn't want little Boz to get mercilessly teased!
Hi J I ran the new name on my list - Bosley! - past some good friends last night and got a chuckle and some raised eyebrows! Hmmm. Just thought I should let you know.
Having said that they also didn't respond very well to my other preferred names so I reckon, stuff 'em!!
We really liked Bailey for a boy when I was PG with DD (before we knew she was a girl) & DF's cousin told us it was a dogs name so DF turned round & said "well I know a couple of dogs called ***"
If you like it, go with it! When I had Bellah XP's mum goes oh thats a dogs name but i dont care what she thinks shes my little girl and i have called her what i wanted to
Im not a fan of it, I would think of it as a dogs name too. But, its not my choice or my baby, we have a strict policy when choosing baby names, do not under any circumstances tell ANYONE the name til the baby is born and named, then everyone just has to get used to it.
