Makon has had to have xrays and U/s the last one we told him the doctor wanted to look in his tummy and that he needed to lie still while they were!

perhaps you could say some thing similar? "the doctor wants to take some photos of your tummy and to do that you might have to lie down" if you have some xrays around maybe show her them! 'see these are photos of mummys/daddys -----! they are funny looking photos"
make it an adventure rather then a scary thing try not to mention its to help her poos!

My eldest DD has had quite a few x-rays and IMO the person doing the x-ray can make all the difference maybe like the others suggested take a pillow or something that usually comforts her at home and then maybe a treat after like going to the park or something for staying nice and still. I have had both instances where my dd either wouldn't stay still at all and then others where she was perfectly still. If she doesn't stay still they will just keep trying until she does.

There is a laxative that my DD has had that is really good it's called Moovicol (not sure if that is the spelling) but it doesn't give the pain that most laxatives do and even i tried it and it's great, its a little more expensive but is great.

Rach the X-Ray people usually have a few tricks up their sleeve to encourage littlies to co-operate. They've always managed to get the necessary pictures of my two, who have clocked up more than 20 between them so far

well we got through it! she didnt want to lay down at all, but i managed to sort of lean across her a little, to make her feel i was laying with her. the man gave her a few stickers, which she loved, and wore proudly out to the waiting room, and showed them off to a little old lady

i promised her a new colouring book & stickers at the shops (i know she is a little young to understand, but i want her to learn i will follow through with my promises!) so we went and got those, now her cabbage patch twins have butterflies and smiley faces all over their little bald heads! lol

anyways, we get the results tomorrow, hopefully we can clear her out!
