I certainly do not believe CIO/CC is the sole reason for mental health problems, no way! But I believe it *can be* a contributing factor, for sure.

There are way too many instances of depression, bipolar, anxiety and suicide attempts in both DH and my families for us to potentially add another risk factor.

ETA sorry I wasn't clear about this earlier and have caused any offence.

Also, please note when referring to family relationships and connections to CIO/CC I did say that it is anecdotal evidence in *my* life.
