This is all to my knowledge:
The green poo is from an inbalance of foremilk as to hindmilk.
Foremilk is high in sugar and when baby gets a lot of foremilk they will have the green poos.
My knowledge is that because of the fattier 'heavier' content of hindmilk, when they have more of it, they are kept full for longer. Do you let bub just feed off one side until he feels finished or do you change him over?
You said he feeds two hourly and mostly from both breasts - if 'you' are changing him over, he would be getting two lots of foremilk, thus explaining the green 'sugary' poos - but if he's finishing a side and then 'he' is going onto the next side, it may be something else, maybe like an intolerance etc.
If he can get more hindmilk he will also probably stay full / sleep for longer (a bonus for you!)

Obviously I'm no expert (pop into BFing Support & ask Barb Glare!!!) BUT this is all the information I was given and have found all of it to be accurate with our feeding so far.
