This is a very funny thread.

DS was 3 weeks old and I had him in a carry thing (the ones where their legs poke out the bottom and you carry them around on your front). It was the first time I had been out with him and had changed his nappy just before we left home. He was asleep and we were doing our weekly shopping through Coles. A friend of mine stopped to say hello and I was being very cool, calm and collected. Suddenly everything started getting quite warm. I then realised that pee was running down my front and filling my shoes and drenching the floor. The "friend" said, "Well, I just leave you with that then." and ticked off. I was mortified and hadn't bought any change of clothes.

DS woke up and realised he was soaked and started screaming his guts out. I had to run in to the Target and buy him some clothes (I didn't care about my clothes, it was only baby wee). Then the girl in Target asked me why he was screaming and I told her why. "Well, you just don't leave home without a change of clothes for the baby." YEP. Thanks for that gem of advice!!!!

I was completely mortified and cried all the way home with DH telling me these things happen to other people all the time. I think about it now and wonder what the heck I was thinking.
