done the boobs out...vomit covered moments. when i feed DD i have a bad habit of rubbing my eyes while we are sitting there, i get drowsy and relaxed i guess, after a feed the other day we headed straight out, had heaps of running around to do, shopping etc, wasnt till i met a friend for a coffee after being out for nearly two hours that they told me i had make up all round my face!! mascara all over the place!!
DS was 3 weeks old and I had him in a carry thing (the ones where their legs poke out the bottom and you carry them around on your front). It was the first time I had been out with him and had changed his nappy just before we left home. He was asleep and we were doing our weekly shopping through Coles. A friend of mine stopped to say hello and I was being very cool, calm and collected. Suddenly everything started getting quite warm. I then realised that pee was running down my front and filling my shoes and drenching the floor. The "friend" said, "Well, I just leave you with that then." and ticked off. I was mortified and hadn't bought any change of clothes.
DS woke up and realised he was soaked and started screaming his guts out. I had to run in to the Target and buy him some clothes (I didn't care about my clothes, it was only baby wee). Then the girl in Target asked me why he was screaming and I told her why. "Well, you just don't leave home without a change of clothes for the baby." YEP. Thanks for that gem of advice!!!!
I was completely mortified and cried all the way home with DH telling me these things happen to other people all the time. I think about it now and wonder what the heck I was thinking.
i took the chance while bub was asleep to nick to the shop and chucked on a collared tshirt, gave dh a kiss and ordes on what to do if bub woke(first time leaving him) i got to the shop and half way around noticed my tshirt was inside out, i was mortified. I though i know ill duck downa n isle take it off turn it the right way and all wil be fine, in the end i decieded to just carry on, i bumped into about 4 people i knew and they all said u know your top is inside out, i said yes joys of being a new mummy. I could have killed Dh for not saying anything
A few weeks ago i went to the shops with the kids, i thought i could smell sick but couldnt see it. Turns out Lachlan had thrown up all down the back of my shirt , i remembered before we left Emma was playing with Lachlan as i was on the floor, she said chuck on Mummy Lachlan and he obeyed her and did so. Turns out Emma was to scared to tell me cause she thought i would tell her off . So instead i walked around the shop with vomit all down my back.
Hm I think my family have a conspiracy thing going on.
On Australia Day we went for a picnic and DD managed to wee out the side of her cloth nappy (don't ask me how), and wee went ALL over me and my lap. Of course it looked like I'd wet myself, so I had to lie in the sun until it dried.
The only other time she's managed to leak out the side of a nappy was her in first week, and while breastfeeding in my bed, she did one of those liquid poos, all down my side and all over our bed! I was so tired though, I just grabbed a cloth nappy to cover it and went back to sleep...
oh yes me, nice chunky vomit all down my back from Ashton. Lumpy and white and gooey...
He was in the MT and I took him out when we got there, spent 3 hours walking around and cabbed home, I didn't realise he threw up until I got home and Jaidan said "yuck Ashton spilled on you" and I took my top off and saw it.
I was embarrassed lol
I can just imagine what people were thinking... white chunky stuff all over my back?
She is very happy about BFing anywhere and she was in the queue of the bank and was BFing her son happily. I might add that she is very well endowed in the breast area when not breastfeeding, so she had some serious boobs happening.
So, she gets the front of the queue and goes to the teller, who is a young guy. He greets her and her baby is curious about the new voice and looks around. Well, my SIL had a pretty powerful flow and so when the baby pulled off, breastmilk shot out and hit this poor young guy in the face. So there he is, kind of covered in breastmilk and staring at this mega-boob. He had no idea what to do and went scarlet. My SIL just thought it was funny!
