We had hiccups at least daily before birth and sometimes more than daily now.

Quite often happens after a feed. Midwives told me not to worry about it and that it was just his diaphragm working out?? To me it looks like he is giving himself little cardiac compressions 'cause he's little ribs move so much.

xavier is un-cooperative if I try to feed him when he has the hiccups, so I rest him on my chest and rub his back.

I think the feeding and the rubbing etc, just relaxes them, and eventually the hiccups go away, Isn't that kind of how we get rid of hiccups, relax, and concentrate on something else??
