    Apart from the safety issues i have with heaters the cost is another. I've managed to get by without one i just layer up. Have you got double glazing? when i lived in UK it was almost essential and makes a huge difference.

    gotta love the sleeping bag and sleep suits been a life saver for me DD kicked the covers off as soon as she could move.
    a tip, if it is really cold buy your sleep suit a little larger than you probably need and layer using a nice snuggly pair of flanelette jamies underneath DD loves it!!!
    We have just progressed to putting a small quilt over her and for the most part she stays underneath it but if not it doesn't matter cause she's all covered anyway.
