Default How much water should Toddlers drink

I know that we as adults should have at least 2 litres a day but how much should say a 2yr have.
This is just out of curiousity more than anything as DS drinks at least 1L a day.

I'm not sure either....but it would probably have something to do with what other hydration he/she is getting (ie other than water)

I don't know I never even know how much DD has, I just refill her bottle with fresh water at meals and then leave the bottle around during the day where she can drink whenever she wants.
I just presume she won't let herself get dehydrated if its readily available.
