how long before bed does your little one have dinner???

yesterday and today i;ve been out with DD2 (10.5 months) in a different environment and she's had a good arvo sleep (i mean over an hour, which at the moment is good) so im posing the question:

is she needing more stimulation from outside the home?? shes obviously stimulated here, were always playing etc.. but curious to know if its the change of environment that helped??
anyone else find that being out then coming home helps bubs sleep better??
both times she went back to bed within 3.5 hours of waking from the previous sleep
