I love my mum's group. We started up when DD was 9 weeks old and we meet up every week, usually at each other's house. 1 has left due to work, another one seems to come and go as she pleases (she was the one in the group that most didn't get along with). There are 8 of us that meet up every friday. There are 4 that I have become very good friends with, they are better friends than some of my so-called friends from before I had DD. All the babies are born early March except 1, she was born premature in December. Of the 8 remaining, 7 of us are 27/28 (i'm the youngest at 27), one is 37. We have no competition, all the kids get on great and we now just have fun. We went out for dinner just the mum's in December and had an absolute ball..we are planning another one very soon. I absolutely love it, I have gone back to work part time which means i can't make it for the next 2 Fridays (rotating roster) and I am very disappointed about this but, I am meeting up with some of the girls tomorrow instead. I think I have made some very solid friendships that I can see lasting for a long time.
