what a bizzare comment!!

we have always encouraged DS to walk - provided that he holds DH or my hand.

if he won't hold our hand, he goes straight into the pram/trolley.

he is much too little to walk alone! but that's not what you're talking about - walking in general, I've no idea why they'd be saying your DD is too little ...
