my freind got some knee pads from a baby shop somewhere.....I will ask her where, I need to get some too
Has anyone else found that there baby gets sore knee while crawling. My little one has some little bruises and they look red.
Since it is summer she is not wearing long pants to cover her up. I have seen those leg warmer type things to protect knees but they are too warm.

Hi,
I've recently bought some knee pads for my DS who is just about crawling. They are sort of like hugalugs or babylegs, but only long enough to go over the knee. They also have a silicon/rubber circle that goes over the knee itself to cushion it a bit. I think the brand was silikids, so if you google that you will find an aussie website that sells them (not sure if I'm supposed to say the name of the online store on this forum??).
Of course, we haven't trialled them yet, so can't really vouch for them, but they look like they will work well.
Cheers,
Thanks for the ideas. Might have a look on eBay for some knee pads.
I just used old cotton socks.
Angus has terrible blisters on the inside of his feet and the balls of his big toes from all his commando crawling, poor love. One burst yesterday and it was funny but not nice to see him commando'-ing using only one foot to push along. Any advice on this???
Sorry, no advice. Hope his little toe is feeling better.
Has any one used the snazzy baby knee pads. What are they like? I saw some on eBay I might bid on. They look so cute and have really cute bright colours. They seem to be made of really good material.
