DS has had a flat infant style pillow from about 10 months but prefers our pillows too so he has had a slightly thicker pillow since about 1yo. The thicker pillow is in the cot now (not that he is most of the night) and the flat one is in our bed in the middle of our pillow but again, he prefers our pillow and "sharing" with us. Currently he is asleep on the lounge (oh yay - no sleeping tonight ) on a cushion.
