Thanks again for your advice and concern everybody. I know that there are plenty of little ones that have had the vaccine without any adverse reactions but I must say the more I think about this 'mistake' the angrier I am getting. The vaccine should not have been available and this should not have happened - what if something serious did happen?

So DD did get high temperatures that night and the next day which had me a little worried, especially as they were very sudden. As you can imagine I was taking her temperature about every 15 minutes lol! Basically she was fine one minute then had a raging temperature the next. It was a little scary given all the media hype but panadol seemed to bring things under control quickly and she is fine now.

So the next thing is the second dose of the flu shot - this was scheduled for a month from now and I really don't know if I should get it or not? Guess I have a bit of time to calm down and think about it.

    Cheers,
    Fi

OMG...i can't believe they 'accidently' gave a baby the wrong vacination that's just not acceptable at all and i too would be taking the matter further.

I am so glad to hear that your little girl is ok now but i am so sorry you had to go through all of that worry and stress. Take care
