Hi samantha, i'm sure we would get some refund from the Ob but it would be no where near enough (we've paid $1500 in ob fees for the whole pregnancy and birth - private midwife costs $2800). The HB midwife said that was the fee, regardless of stage of pregnancy. She sounded so lovely - if i had the $ I'd hire her straight away!
