I can see both sides of this one.
I've never had a c/s so I can't comment on that, but the recovery after a vaginal birth would be quicker I'm sure.
However, I can understand about the MIL thing!
How does your DH feel about it?
I think that Beckles is right, you can tell them you need more time to make a decision if you need to!
Ultimately you need to do what you feel comfortable with.
