I agree that that amount of blood is definitely not right.

Also, even though way back 50 years ago my own GM had a VBAC after a classic Csect (vertical scar) I didnt think there was any way a hospital would let someone Vbac these days after one! (not that I think theres anything wrong with doing it, just that the incidence of rupture is higher, but I dont know actual stats....?)
Just sounds a bit strange to me...
From what you've described it does sound as though they are not taking her seriously, good o you for being a great friend and being there for her, I think going to the ER is some great advice there!
