Ooh Good luck everyone!! I love reading about everyone getting ready to have their bubbas!! I think because I'm getting closer to the business end it's interesting to read everyones pre-labour/early labour symptoms as well!!
Hope you can hold out b456! Good Luck Jo and Rachael - Hope it all happens soon for you!
After 36 weeks Take the oral dose as per the instructions on the bottle. And insert 3 high up into the vagina at night. Put a pad on because things can get a bit messy
I will definately take the EOP orally, but I just can't see myself inserting them anywhere else! Especially if I do go into labour and then have all of this discharge I have to explain to the midwives!! I suppose they have probably seen everything though haven't they??
Good luck tonight girls! Hope SOMEONE has a baby in their arms by the weekend!!
Thanks Alan. Hey, just one more question...my sister (a nurse) said the midwives she works with say that when there is a drop in barometric pressure they get all their heavily pregnant women coming into hospital in labour. This is her theory for me having my baby tomorrow, as the weather here is having a dramatic change and a major drop in barometric pressure due to the cyclones up north tonight and tomorrow. I figure this is something similar to the pressure on a plane??? I am really clutching at straws now I know, I am trying to think of anything that will make me feel better!!!!!
Hi JoMarie
I have never actually studied it but yes it is a common belief that is there is a storm on its way then maternity will probably get busy. If I see dark clouds heading towards the hospital I would usually go and make sure the birth suite was fully stocked
Hey Brooke - having exactly the same pains as you although mine so the opposite, are very intense about ever 2-5 min for a couple of hours and then stop. Send those vibes my way I would love to go into labour myself tonight before the induction tomorrow
I am going to go with the storm theory then! I am also going to go for the EPO tonight and see if it makes any difference. I was 2cm dilated when we went up to hospital on Monday night, so is it still ok to use the EPO?
