Inductions don't always work and if baby isn't ready or in the right spot, they get stressed and there's your c/s. Babies don't like induction drugs, it makes the contractions harder and faster - you may have pain relief (or not) but harder and faster contractions mean less oxygen for baby = unhappy baby.
