I don't think it's strange, I'm looking forward to the birth too, Monnie! I can't remember exactly how many weeks they recommend you start the pink kit... it's around either 26 or 28w. Sorry, DH has taken that section of the material to read during his breaks at work so I can't check for you LOL.
