How do you find it for men? Is it interesting enough to keep their interest? Is it direct with talking about being a birth partner?

It's my DPs first, my third, so we are discussing AN class options, and I was wondering if the pink kit was worth it for a first-time birth partner? I guess I'm worried about overloading him and freaking him out.
