:yeahthat: I just wanted to add, your body needs to do all this. Its never been through labour before & needs to take its time preparing itself. The longer it takes, as annoying as it is, the less it has to do when it comes to the business end of things.
If you took away all these little contractions & put them into about 8 hours, the pain would be hell. Thats what an induction would do. Rather than your body taking its time, the induction would take over & make things move faster & harder & thats when things escelate. Pain relief, epi, c/s. Thats how so many of them end up. Thats why we are all trying to get you to try to relax & take your time
