You are doing an amazing job DD. Remember how having a new baby can be so overwhelming? I was forever questioning what I was doing and wish now I'd just relaxed a bit more.

DS lost weight after birth too - it's totally normal isn't it? He was back to his pre-birth weight by 10 days, and well above it by 2 weeks.
My milk didn't come in until day 4 or 5, and then it took another day or so to be more than a dribble. That's normal too I believe.
And the pain was horrendous for the first few weeks - I didn't have any problems bfing and it was still soooooooooo painful. DS would suckle for hours at a time with barely a break in between. Isn't that normal too?

I feel for you that the mw's are hassling you or making you feel like you need to offer formula or express, especially as it's so soon after your DD's birth. I hope DH can offer you the reassurance you need and help you feel better. And once again, you can do this, you are doing it and you are doing it sooooo well already!
