How did you go with waiting an hour? When you are feeling full it's a good idea to feed or at least express at least enough until you feel comfortable. The last thing you want now is any other problems like blocked ducts or mastitis. Also, when your breasts are full, it can be harder for a young baby to attach. If this happens there are some things you can do - either express first before attaching, just enough to soften the breast a little, or something called Reverse Pressure Softening.
