Yeah, bathtime is specialtime with Dad here too (and a break for me). DH doesn't feeel any special bond from feeding baby with a bottle, and i prefer to breastfeed than express, so thats what works for us.

I just want to be able to share the love with my DH and get him to bottle feed. I also feel more comfortable having some EBM in the freezer JIC... IYKWIM. Also, DH and I have a couple of nights out coming up in the next few months and I will be back at work part time in October. Also I want to give my 2 year old DS EBM if he'll take it.
I recently go a hug from a 3yo who i donated milk to when my DD2 was little, Pretty special hug.

I didn't think hospitals did which is so sad but I can see why in terms of liability and even quality control etc.
Bathtime and massage time are Dad time here too
Also daddy gets her up in the morning as he's getting ready for work- she's always waiting in her cot with the biggest smile.

Bathtime is Dad's job here too. I leave the boys to have their fun while I potter around, then when they get out I sit in the chair in DS's room ready for when Daddy has finished getting him into his pj's, then it's lights off and boob before bed.

I feed DD before bed in the dark, in my bed. DH aeroplanes her to me after her bath and massage - She's like a little rocket in her swaddle me up.

Afm, cant believe i have made it to 5 months and still exclusively breastfeeding, so chuffed!!!
Even looked up re: donating breast milk today to try and help other bubs. The only one i could find in melbourne was the mercy milk bank, but you have to have given birth there, and i didnt. I also found the 'mothers milk' web site, but they are based in nsw so dont know if that will work, but i have emailed them.

jayejaye, If you are on Faceboo, check out 'human milk for human babies'. there are groups for all States and you can post to say that you have milk to donate, or respond to someone saying they need milk.

Can you do anything about painful let down?
Its always so sharp and tingly and on occassions really does hurt. Thing is i always feel it in the side im not feeding from. The side she is on doesnt hurt at all. (So if she is on right my left boob kills and vise versa)

Try not to let your breasts get too full - letdown is more forceful when your breasts are very full. It will ease up with time, too, as your breasts settle down to make just enough milk for your baby - not excess as they tend to in the early days

Teirae, I still get an intense pressure in both bbs when my milk lets down. It had settled since the first month or two but is still quite noticeable.
Hopefully it calms down soon for you. Pretty amazing feeling though! I have to un-latch my DD so she doesn't choke, poor sausage

Pressure on the other nipple can help reduce the let down feeling. A face washer pushed over it, or if you are out a more subtle elbow pushing into the breast can help. It usually settles over time though.
