alish - i don't think anyone was judging - just sharing our experiences my point was that if what you're doing is working for you, then feel confident & happy to continue with it. the other thing i was trying to say wasn't that you should wake your baby to feed, just that once some babies hit a few weeks old, it's almost like they become more alert & not as sleepy (that's why i called it 'waking up') & once they do, their feeding requirements may change. some babies stay the same.
but at the moment the most important thing is that your LO is happy & healthy. that means you must be doing just fine.
