My milk came in bang on 72 hrs after my DD's birth via c/s. You could have set the clock by it! So some of it will come down to your genetic predisposition I would think. My Mum was a fabulous milk-maker too and I certainly inherited that gene.

I put DD to the breast ASAP (still over an hour after her birth, but within the first two that was my cut-off) and made sure she was fed on demand from then on. I was hoping to let her bf in the theatre but it was too cold for me to do skin-to-skin there. But I did absolutely everything else I could to facilitate our bfing relationship.
