DD that is. Shes 2 weeks old and has been sick pretty much the whole 2 weeks she has been here. She was delivered by c/section so was a little mucousy for a couple days. Then it seems she caught my cold that I had about 1 week prior to going into hospital. Consisted of quite a yuck nose and a slight cough.

Anyway, my question is.... I thought breastfeeding was meant to be good for their immune system? She doesnt seem to be getting any better as such but doesnt require a trip to the doctor (yet anyway). Explain to me... please... how breastfeeding is any better than formula feeding for their immune system?
