You poor thing I so feel your pain. I too felt like I failed my first, I gave up on bfeeding at only 3 days old. But you know what she is now a happy, healthy & smart 3 year old. I now have a 6 day old and I was more petrified about breastfeeding than birthing her. We are chugging along with it slowly, taking it each feed/day at a time. Bfeeding is not easy!!!! I can really understand your DH's pov and he obviously just does not want you to go down that dark path again, good for him for looking out for you. Must cut this short but all the best.
