As the time gets closer, I keep having more and more questions/what if's pop into my head...
For those that were able to have skin on skin while they were being stitched up, how was it facilitated? Was bubs popped straight there the minute they were out with the cord still attached, or was it after the paed had checked them out? Did you get the paed to agree to it before delivery? Were they worried about it being cold in the theatre?
If your bub had to go to SCN, how soon after the delivery were you able to join them?
If you had a maternal assisted delivery, how exactly did it work? Was it hard to get your OB to agree to it? Were there conditions placed upon it?
I think that's all for now, but I'm sure there'll be more TIA
