Well ExDP came over on the weekend and was going on about how he resigned from his old job as an IT consultant because they were ripping off. And that he has started his own business. He said that he earns about $40 - $50/h for when he fixes people computers, and that he's also receiving benefits from Centerlink under the NES scheme or something.. Basically he gets a payment from Centrelink to help with his business or something? I have no idea. But he said it's about $500 a fortnight. (He is known to exaggerate though).
So, I'm wondering, how is it that he is apparently earning so much money, whilst living at home with his Mum & Step-father, and also working from home so would hardly have any expenses.. And yet he still isn't paying any child support? He came over and lavished DS in birthday presents from him & his family, but no mention of CS. Every time I check on the CSAonline it tells me my expected payment is 0.00, but my entitlement is $101 (which hardly seems fair for 3 months overdue, but oh well), and then the date I'm supposed to be receiving it keeps getting changed. Should I call CSA and let them know? The last time they said they couldn't do anything about it, but that was when he was at his old job. Can't Centrelink take money out of his benefit? Or can they not do that because it's for a business so it's not the same as the other benefit he used to get when he was not working?

I don't want to seem greedy or ungrateful, but I'm really struggling atm so it felt like a slap in the face for him to come around flaunting his money, and CS is the only regular, meaningful, contribution ExDP makes to DS's life.
