Definitely not. Lots of people return to work way before there kids are 1 and this is no different. Everyone has different needs - I am actually looking forward to heading back to work for a few days soon. I just don't have to justify it to anyone as if I don't return to work I lose my job. Parenting is hard enough, don't give yourself a hard time. I agree with fionas - perhaps be quite regimented about doing a set period of jobs on the cc day and then the rest of the day is for you.
