Not good Anna - Get well vibes!!!!!! Might have to get DH to drop River's pressy off or yours can pop by here to pick it up. Rest up and let River have full BB access to get antibodies as you make them, nothing worse than a sick NB.

nearly 12 hours between posts?? What is wrong? Did everyone log off after the kids went to bed, or when they are asleep the nappy madness shrinks away??

BG - Yay on the new WM and Dryer!!! I can hear our WM getting sicker and sicker, but it has to hang on a little bit longer, we cant afford a new one. Will probably get one when I go back to work though, I want one with a timer so that I can load it up in the morning and have it just finshed washing when I get home, so I can hang it out when it hasn't been sitting in my hot laundry all day going smelly.

Need pop a note in MPM thread - will return with link

Kitt3n - I looked at the CGR's yesterday, and nothing really grabbed me. Am I just getting too fussy in my 'old' age ?

Maz - Saw a custom on FB for a lovely Townsville lady - She is going to absolutley LOVE it!!! I love it!!!

My name is Cheeky_Monkey and I have been quite absent from this thread of late. I apologise to no end for my absence.

Visitors galore at my house lately. My mother arrives again in an hour (all the way from W.A) not planned, medical emergency.

Now with my mothers medical issue already looming, my sister then calls to say my brother in-law has been rushed to hospital this morning. Had to talk to her on the mobile for 30 minutes to keep her calm during her drive to the hospital to see him. They're in Brisbane, I'm in Townsville.

My little man has been such a good sport while it's all happening, sitting quietly playing as he can see Mummy is busy. Love him.

Got fluffy mail yesterday, IB mail. Just a few seconds I nabbed as the LE didn't really suck me in. I love love love the rockmelon colour - it really is d'lish!

My apologies if I don't respond to much, but I'll try to keep reading

Anna...I hope you feel better real soon!

I got fluffy mail today....WOOT WOOT!!! 2 huge parcels of 2nd hand from a lovely BB'er...awesome stuff! A pair of wool longies (lanolised and ready to go, yayy) off eBay.
And itti bitti sent me my flushable wipes that they forgot to put in my parcel last week, they also gave me a velour wipe as a sorry gift...yayyyy!
    Should be getting MooGoo tomorrow.

Good news on the playgroup Maz...we have playgroup every Wednesday and really look forward to it.

Last night I had super fast fingers and scored 5 FB's at their stocking..woohoooo.
Got the Black Dynasty , Aqua and Chocolate Argyle, Retro Dots, Red embossed paisley and Paisley Medallion in Caramel/Dark Chocolate. Also nabbed a layby spot...which I needed to be able to get all these, LOL.

WOJB...terry flat and orange BBH cover.

Kitten - you do need to wash a cover EVERY time there is poo on it. Not worth the health risk. Is this happening just overnight? or do you mean any time of the day?

bilby pooed overnight, only when teething. For that time (the teething), i would use mainly fleece covers, flongies - to deal with the constant washing.

How is the fitted on underneath actually fitting her? has she outgrown the rise (if poo leaks is from out the back). are you getting leg gape (if poo is escaping from the legs) - is the elastic still good? are the fitteds slightly too big for her? maybe stick in a small booster to take up some slack. Cos if a fitted fits right, you shouldn't be getting so many poosplosions on the covers. When they're REALLY tiny, yes, but i thought your bub was older than that?

ayhoo, to give you a break from the constant woollies washing and relanolising, i would be swapping over to fleece covers, until this situation calms down, or you figure out why her fitteds are fitting her so well right now/ Is she inbetween sizes perhaps?

    FLUSHABLE LINERS?
    Jess and ??
omg i've gone blank, i kept your name in my head, the whole time i was reading the posts, and now i gforget!
anyhoo, i bought both Bummis and Tots bots - coudln't tell them apart to be honest, both lovely and soft

i hear good things about the imse vimse ones too, just haven't seen them IRL myself. if we had ever gotten thru the bulk amount i bought (which we didn't, i bought 4 rolls this year, we only got thru 2 of them, you see i was expecting bilby to be in nappies all this year!) i was going to try imse vimse next, obovouisly won't be doing that now ha ha

BRIGSY - congrats on your new machines, i'm actually glad you got them BEOFRE baby arrives, i found it stressful buying a new washer with a two month old bub. easier to get set up, practise using them, BEFORE baby arrives. then you have your systems in place.

SAS85 - enjoy your maz rainbow cover, sounds gorgy, but i am biased, anything rainbow is wonderful to me!

ittibittis - their special niche in the mcn marketplace (apart from being cute) is their LOW RISE. They are trim thru the crotch area, but fuller coverage in the bottom area.
itti bitti boo - velour fitteds
itti bitti ai2 - PUL outers (classic), or minky outers (d'lish)
because of their design features, the ai2 are easy to put under jeans too. that's when you are not showing off their cuteness with accompanying baby legwarmers!

wotbb: imse vimse organic velour (inside and out) cloth trainer.
great for kids who react to synthetic inners.
it's got a "feel wet" inner, and i think it has worked, she's tt-d, hated feeling wet.
so now, they're her "knickers with insurance" - i'm waiting for the regression everyone mentions (that has tt-d a child). SHe keeps staying dry at night too. i keep thinking, when will this "good run" come to an end? When do i get to find out if the mattress protector works or not? LOL.

    Grr just lost my post!

    Hi everyone!
Glad no fluffy mail arrived this morning cause DH was home and I would have gotten into trouble! Its easier to hide if he doesn't see it arrive and asks what it is! I'm waiting on Ecobubs and baby legs, MnM and a replacement CT.

CM- I hope everything is ok with your mother and BIL. You've got a lot going on. I hope your fluffy mail made you feel a bit better.

Anna- hugs take care of yourself. Its so awful being sick let alone whne you have a newborn to take care of.

Rayray I just noticed you only have 11 days to go! That's v exciting!

Gigi- you have so much info in that head of yours! So helpful.

BG- yay on the new WM and dryer. I've heard good things about the F&P, as close to a front loader water wise as you can get.

Gigi Thanks for the info about the flushable liners So far the ImseVimse ones have been going well....well I got the poo in the loo and not all over myself so I figure thats good My only concern with them is when I remove the nappy, I have to kinda "peel" the liner from DS's bits, looks uncomfortable for him but he didnt fuss!!

yay rayray - not long to go now hunny!

well, WM installation is happening - slowly. it now appears there was nothing wrong with the old machine - just the old man! i noticed the leak and asked him to check everything - got told nothing was obvious and we've just put up with it for a while. well, we start connecting the new one today (it's so purddy!) and i tell him to make sure the water hoses aren't leaking. nope, nothing from the hose - but the tap itself is leaking! so he's just come back from town where he went to buy new washers. he's gotta hate that - cost him over 1000 bucks for something he could have repaired with new washers months ago! bwahahaha - at least the new washer is purddy and has a nappy cycle...

maz-mail! It's gorgeous, thank you hun! I hope you had fun making it. And the lovely extras! I hope they're meant for me, and someone hasn't missed out... cheeky Maz!
Well, that's quite possibly the last of my fluffy mail. Unless DS decides he will learn to sleep some time this decade, we wont be TTC #2 any time soon. And until then, I have to make do with the stash I have (going on the amount of funds I don't have!!). I give it about a week before I'm having withdrawals... wish me luck!

i got fluff today! 2 cute tooshies aio's and a cgr from one of the ladies at NA - she said they were lined with velour but its actually minkee! oh well - they are still really nice!!

ls and gigi - thankyou on the poo info. I find that fleece covers aren't good for overnight, she needs the thicker woolen ones. Gigi you are right - she is having the leaks out of nappies which she has leg gape in, these are a bit big but i cant afford to get 6 small nappies and then another 6 bigger ones (3 days to dry here).... so i guess i just have to make do for the moment....

fluff - nice on the mnm - i am curious to knwo how that fits

anna - hope you feel better

CM - i hope your mum is ok?

hmn i had other stuff but cant rmember!

    wohb - sugar shot
