well, my nappies are getting a work out today, poor dd is sick and has been chucky and now it is the other end, she actually managed a poopexplosion out of her magical over night. YUCK is all I can say.

So today I have her in her ittis with another cover over just in case. I still to find a nappy that seals realy well around her legs, even covers with cussets don't. Itti's work most of the time just not when it runny.

I weighed her this morning she is 8.8kilos at 15.5 months dame skinny child of mine she is about 75cm tall. So still a little tacker. I can nearly cross her ittis over when snapping them.

WORB itti of some colour with a bumwear cover

Oh good someone with a smaller child than mine!! I get sick of mine being the skinniest.. LOL..

I don't think Miss M has hit 10kg yet, but she's probably at least 80-85cms tall - so she's just a stringbean. Hard to get nappies to fit properly when they are that skinny and long cos they always outgrow the rise, but bigger nappies are too big!!! And don't start me on how hard it is to get a good leg seal!!! arghh!!!!

The best nappies I have found are by far the side snapping nappies - like dragonfly magik and things like that -they are awesome fit.

    peek-a-boo!!

Mel - CONGRATS!!! number 4 will be here before you know it!! pink vibes!!!

Well I am glad I bought lots of little nappies. Leah is still in our smalls and nb prefolds and maz covers, but Maz she fits her M LL perfectly and can outwet it!! she is 5.5 kilos at 4 months!!! still in some 0000 but mostly 000.

We are going to travel with cloth this christmas!! sposies for the drive coz i wont have washing machine access for a week each way, but clothing when we get South. So who wants to catch up in Adelaide?

I'm nearly ready to put Em in knickers and carry the potty around the house. she does 1 wee and then wants a change so we are going through nappies like no tomorrow, and some of our leg elastics have died.

We found the cause for Em's never healing NR!!! She has a genetic skin condition from FIL, so we just need to keep going as we are. I found another good barrier cream that doesnt clog the nappies too, the A'kin one rubs in clear and doesnt rub off on nappies!! very happy with that.

WOLB: SB? and MAL retro dots cover.
WOEB: probably nothing now but it was a CT Basix

A'kin protective bottom balm. it is water based, has zinc, shea butter, vitamin E, pro vitamin b5. almost everything has a botanical source.

jsut got back from MCHN and think i know why not happy with the itti bitti fit...susie is 5.99kg...I could have sworn she was well over 6 by now! guess the medium is just too big still lol!
the GK looks good on so see how it goes definitely like the bamboo boosters over microfibre boosters. just one question...most pockets seem to have microfibre/suedecloth next to bubs skin, is that likely to cause her any irritations? to date shes been used to bamboo terry next to her skin. but then shes got a cold at the moment and teething a bit so the red dry rash shes got could be related to that too...its not overly sore looking just itchy atm which makes me wonder if it could be from the non-natural fibres!

Fuzzibuns arrived today too! have got it in the wash. just looking at it I'm amazed at how adjustable it is! wow! looking forward to trying it out

aww Maz! no fair on him not needing your NN anymore! that's just not right! don't your kidlets realise their mummy neeeeds them in cloth a bit longer (only for wees - poops can go in the loo - icky! lol)

well, i put E's NN on last night - the small fit beautifully, but the small cover didn't go over it and DH just couldn't work out where the M's were (silly bugger!) - so we took the mega boosting out given she has been waking in the night anyway - it was enough - but ONLY cos she woke for a feed after 5 hours - must drag out bigger covers for LL soon

not that she's a big bubba - i'd say she's just over 6kg now 0 might have to work out how to get a rough weight at home - MCHN too far away and too busy to go there JUST to weigh when she seems healthy enough anyway

BG - do you have a good set of normal, digital scales?? I shower with DD most nights as can't deal with the back twisting of a bath, so every now and then I just step on the scales ne-ked get my weight, then grab my ne-ked little bubba and gives me a pretty good idea of her weight by how much more I weigh.

Oooh, I orderd a Med Nappy Knickers off GF and they are fantastic - they're supposed to start from 12kgs but I tried them on DD (because her wiggling and rolling is driving me BONKERS when changing her - what do you mummies do to stop that??) And they seal so nicely around her waist and leg already that even though there's lots of space in them they fit already which was good because I can get them on her standing which she's a little more willing to do

So I'm going to order 4 more - Hey, I figure I've got an excuse to order more nappies now there'll be another bub using the current stash - I simply MUST expand it, what choice do I have (Don't know if DH will buy into that but Meh!)

Alioops - You're back! Hope your break was refreshing.
