Flea - thanks for your comments. Have decided to go back to the dr to discuss, and am still trying to get the Gaviscon in without any success. I already bought a bottle of mylanta and have given a couple of doses (pharmacist advised correct amount) to tide us over until we see the dr. Gee she sucks that minty goodness down although like you I have reservations over the aluminium factor.
