my mum would say 'the baby is knocking'...it's totally normal to want more children, and to want it now rather than later. I am sad our society is such that babies can't just appear whenever we want them. It sounds like you and dh have some important reasons for delaying, and I think you could perhaps take a 'wait and see what these next few months bring' approach...you never know dh might change his mind...but in the meantime you've made headway financially.
