it worked for us, we'd been TTC for 7 months and the first time we DTD in the shower we got UTD. So I'm gonna go with yes lol.
As for wasting the liquid gold, I think I read somewhere they swim upstream anyway so as long as it's pointed in the right direction it shouldn't matter ... (that could be totally wrong BTW I wouldn't listen to me )
Although I guess the more that stays inside the more likely it is one will make it to the holy grail.
