    Hello,
It took us almost 2 years to conceive our daughter (I have PCOS and used clomid to conceive).
We are currently ttc number 2 and after 12 months of no success we are trying clomid again!
Wishing you luck on your journey!

1st go with number one (after being told I was going to have a rough road with fertility!!!). I'm up to cycle 9 with trying for number two.

Good luck - everyone's different even for subsequent goes.

My first took 14 months (ended in m/c at 10 weeks)
DD took no time at all, happened the month I came off the pill (Maybe because we were expecting it to take longer so not so stressed at the start, also in the middle of 3 months travel over seas so very relaxed!)
DS (this one) took 13 months

I have heard great success stories about clomid, although never used it myself. If it takes too long maybe approach a doctor about clomid?

Hope you get your BFP really soon!

    DD#1: 1st cycle
    DD#2:1st cycle
    DD#3: unplanned oopsie.

My only advice is to take the relaxed approach.....but if your hitting the 10-12 month mark of TTC, i would see your Dr....Good luck, wishing you a BFP real soon.....

Baby number 1 = 1st month but ended in m/c at 12 wks
    DD = 1st month
Baby number 3 = 15 months but ended in m/c at 12 wks
Baby number 4 (currently pregnant with) = 9 months after m/c baby number 3

Good Luck with TTC and hopefully it wont be too long before you're pregnant. It can be a very stressful phase in your life after you've been TTC for sometime

James - Was a beautiful little oopsie.
    Madeleine - 6 months
    Noah - 17 months
    Harrison - 2 months
Little Wing - Another oopsie that ended in MC at 8w2d.

Since the MC, my cycle has been all over the place, I am trying to lose weight to see if that will make a difference. DH and I are going to start TTC in Jan 09, and have no expectations as to how long it will take until we're successful.
Hang in there hun, you will get your precious bubba... just keep believing in that.

Good Luck. I and many others know how frustrating and hard it can be. I hope it won't be too much longer for you

    Thanks everyone.

I am onto cycle 14 after starting my spotting yesterday.

I have been to the DR and apparently after an initial confusing sperm test (being told that my DH has too many sperm..yes I know) we were told that he sperm count is actually excellent.

So the problem must be with me. I have a lap booked in for sometime in the next 3 months (waiting for the hospital to give me a date) and then I guess we will have to wait and see.

I am also looking into acupuncture so surley something has to happen soon right.

    Thanks again

    hmm,

Well, technically it was first go (honey moon babe0 although we were trying. That was the first time we activley tried. But I actuially charted my cycle for 12 months and kinda got in touch with my body, and worked through all the stress before I started trying. (oh and lost 10 kgs) So I was kinda in my optimal state.

But zi do think we were very lucky as well

It took 15 months for us, and like you we were at the point where we were considering our options.

Took us 9 months after coming off BCP, but ended in m/c Then fell pregnant before getting my period back after m/c.

Good idea with the acupuncture. I started acupuncture the month i got pregnant the first time, and then had it again after the m/c. So pregnant straight away both cycles using acupuncture. I don't think it was a coincidence, I would really recommend it!
