When I was on clomid I was always monitored by ultrasound and blood tests. I also have PCOS and my body was very temperamental with clomid. Some cycles I would O and others I wouldn't even with a higher doesMy FS always did an ultrasound to make sure I hadn't had too many follicles and therefore increasing the risk of multiple birth (still had twins using IVF lol) but she used to always check in case I had like 4 follies or something (twins is ok... not sure how I would have coped with more than two!!)
