I am totally going to buy this book, just waiting though as I have just finished my TMX consultant training so going to wait and see if it's offered as an incentive before I buy it.

Is anyone else a consultant on here? Would be interested to know how you are going?

Is anyone else menu planning?

I have had my thermie for a few months now and am absolutely loving it. Looking forward to selling them!!

I made kale & roo lasagne tonight. Yesterday I made the gravy from EDC, Capsicum Dip from EDC and I converted a chocolate and raspberry cake for TMX.
Would love to know what your cooking!!

I have lusted after them for a long time, but have never been brave enough to spend the money. DH told me to have a demo so he could see it in action, and was impressed, so we bit the bullet. Eeeeeeekkk! I'm so excited! How am I going to wait a week or so until it gets here?!

@Rainbow Mumma - There is nothing that will disappoint you about the TMX, it's great for all levels of cooking, my group leader went from being a self proclaimed jar cook to being a gourmet home cook with hers. She makes everything from scratch now and is so happy with the difference it makes to her an her family. For me I am a foodie, have always loved cooking etc, but when I had my DD and started my business a few years back I found i didn't have the time to cook, I love my thermie, it's like an extra pair of hands and I can cook nutritious food quickly and easily, but I can also cook food that I would have never attempted before just because it is so sophisticated. I am so glad I have it for my next child as preparing baby food in the TMX is going to be such a breeze, it will do all the work for me. There is so much support for the TMX out there - loads of websites and facebook pages. I also find I save $$ as there is much less waste in my family. Also with the recipe index website there is an abundance of recipes you can search by ingredients you have. I can also make delicious curries and pizzas from scratch with little effort and I know what's going into it (i.e. organic veggies and meat) as opposed to take aways. It was the best $2k I ever spent and since I became a consultant as I believe in it so much... Here is a link to an article in Sunday's paper.

ive got the kids and toddler book....

its very similar to an annabel karmel type book....

its got some great recipes in it, DD loves the apricot balls and the vegie sauce!

HAHA,tell me about it! Damien saw it in action at my demo last night and was convinced we needed one too! Duh....I've only been telling him I need one for...how many years?!!!!

I haven't used mine other than to cook pasta or rice in weeks. Clearly I suck at this just like a lot of other things

You do not suck at it. It just takes time to get used to it, if you aren't interested in making stuff like custards, smoothies, breads, sorbets etc.

You could try one new thing a week, replace something that you normally buy in a packet or something like that - and make it in the thermomix instead. Google for recipes or ask in here! I don't use mine every day (although DH does for his protein stuff) but to have it there when I need it is great Like when my mum came over and was doing some cooking with the kids, and ran out of icing sugar half way through a recipe - I had some sugar in my pantry that I turned into icing sugar for her in the thermomix. Handy! Couldn't do that without it Just takes practice to get over the fear of using it I think, I haven't converted all my regular recipes into being able to be cooked in it, mainly because I'm still a little bit intimidated by mine and I've had it for 2 years LOL

Ok. BD... This is where we can help. What does your family eat? What sort of things do you want to use it for? Don't be disheartened! I've gone through periods where I don't use it much too. Certainly not a failure! Let us help you!!!!

We mostly eat chicken tonight's and tuna bakes and spaghetti sort of things. I get home really late and it's so hard.

I've made the zucchini slice choc chip cookies bread scrolls Anzac biscuits risotto.

It's more a lazy thing I think where we don't write down all the ingredients that we need before we go shopping. We pretty much eat the same thing EVERY week on different days lol

I haven't even used my Veroma yet
